A Rainbow Baby - DC Newborn Photographer

I met Kim and Bennett for an in-home newborn session at their home in DC. Ella is a rainbow baby, so it was important to them to document their family and the details of their sweet babe.

Kim and Ella did some skin-to-skin and breastfeeding, which are two of my favorite things to photograph. I absolutely love fresh baby sessions. They are so raw and honest. Ella really is such a peaceful baby. She is their calm after the storm.

Big brother, Ian, also joined in. You could really tell how proud he is of his little sis. I mean, just look at that smile!
