Documenting my Family

Use of Light

I'm working on a personal project to document my family more. My main focus is light and movement in the moment. Just as I tell you how important it is to document your family, I have to take my own advice. I have been carrying my camera with me everywhere, so I don't miss anything. (These are just a few from this weekend.) 

Sometimes my kids are tired of having their picture taken, but this weekend they have been great about it. When I go back and look at each picture, I can see their personality shining through and I notice small details that make each one unique. In a sense, these are self portraits because there is a little bit of me in each one.
