Maternity Session - The Johnson Family

Springfield, VA

I was greeted by two of the most beautiful girls when I arrived at the house of Dominique and Ryan! Ellie was spunky and showed me how to decorate her felt Christmas tree on the wall. Olivia was a little reserved, but it didn't take long for her to warm up. Olivia is a girl after my own heart....I'm pretty sure one of her favorite snacks is BACON!

Dominique knew exactly what she was looking for and I loved that! She had fun activities planned for the kids and everyone was so easy going.

We started with Ellie and Olivia decorating for Christmas. Ryan and Dominique handed the girls window stickers and they put them up (and Olivia took them down). After that, they put on shows and socks and headed outside to play in the leaves. The have a huge backyard, where the girls helped their dad rake to make piles of leaves and then were swinging on their swing set. We then went back inside to get a few posed family pictures on the couch.

This was such a fun session and I enjoyed my hugs goodbye from both Ellie and Olivia. It won't be too long before I see them again when I photograph the birth of baby Alex!
